1  as malignant are calculated consecutively  operated patients, with recorded histopathological diagnosis of malignancy

2  as benign are calculated cosecutively operated patients with benign histopathological diagnoses (4.008) and all cytological negative patients, not developing clinical signs of malignancy, in the 1 – 16 years period of follow-up.

*  Total number of breast aspiration biopsies is shown in row  7  of I stratum of   cytology – topography. From 5.906 positive cytological findings 2.639  are not  calculated in this Bayes table because they have not recorded consecutive histopathological finding needed for gold  standard.

** The number of positive cytological findings with recorded consecutive histopathological findings is 3.267. 2.639 positive cytologic   findings are not calculated because they have not recorded consecutive histopathological   findings. (5.906  -  3.267  =  2.639).
